Flexible Thermal/

Bubblepack's Roll Liner is our traditional, highly flexible approach to container insulation. Thermal material is professionally fitted to the internal surfaces of a standard container on site, giving Irish exporters a liner that can be shaped around bespoke cargo, container and operational requirements.

Roll Liner/

A Roll Liner is thermal insulation material supplied in rolls and professionally fitted to the internal surfaces of a shipping container, rather than delivered as a single prefabricated unit. Our trained installation teams cut and fit the material to the specific areas of the container that need protection, whether that is the full six-sided space or a partial configuration built around your cargo. Because the installation is built up section by section, it can be adapted to unusual container configurations, partial coverage requirements, or bespoke cargo needs.

Installation Works/

How Roll Liner Installation Works

Roll Liner installation is available where Bubblepack's own trained teams and material stock are based, which today means Ireland. This gives Irish exporters fast, reliable access to a fully adaptable liner install without waiting on international logistics.

1

Thermal material arrives at the installation location in rolls, ready to be cut to size.

2

Bubblepack's trained installation team fits the material to the walls, ceiling, doors and floor, according to your specific requirement.

3

Each section is secured in place, building a continuous insulation barrier around the cargo space.

4

The container is ready to load once installation is complete, typically 20 to 45 minutes depending on container size.

FAQS/

Frequently asked questions

What is a Roll Liner and how is it different from the Integrated Liner?

+

A Roll Liner is thermal insulation material supplied in rolls and professionally fitted to the internal surfaces of a container on site. It uses a 3-layer construction with a reflective metalised foil outer layer, an insulating bubble core, and a reflective metalised foil inner layer. The Integrated Liner is a prefabricated 5-layer laminate unit manufactured to standard container dimensions and secured using its own attachment system. The constructions differ, but thermal performance is essentially the same. The practical difference is the format and the installation approach.

How long does Roll Liner installation take?

+

Roll Liner installation typically takes 20 to 45 minutes depending on container size, since the material is cut and fitted to the required areas on site by a trained installation team.

Can a Roll Liner be fitted to non-standard container configurations?

+

Yes. Because the Roll Liner is built up section by section, individual walls, the ceiling, doors and floor can be lined according to the specific requirement, making it well suited to unusual configurations or partial coverage.

Where is Roll Liner installation available?

+

Roll Liner installation is available where Bubblepack's trained installation teams and material stock are based, primarily Ireland, making it a strong fit for exporters shipping from an Irish port of origin.

Is the Roll Liner as effective as the Integrated Liner?

+

Thermal performance is essentially the same across both formats. The two use different constructions, a 3-layer bubble core for the Roll Liner and a 5-layer laminate for the Integrated Liner, but both are engineered to deliver equivalent protection. The Roll Liner is simply fitted differently, giving more flexibility for bespoke or partial-coverage requirements.

Can a Roll Liner be reused?

+

The liner material is designed for durability across repeat use, though reusability depends on route conditions and cargo type. Contact Bubblepack for guidance specific to your shipment.
