What Affects the Cost of Thermal Liner Installation in Ireland?

What is included in a liner quotation?

For Irish exporters, BubblePack primarily offers professional supply and installation of its Roll Liner. The quotation should distinguish the liner material, agreed coverage, installation and any location-specific arrangements. This is a cargo-protection service for freight containers, not permanent insulation for container homes or buildings.

Container size and coverage

Container length and height affect the material and work required. Confirm whether the container is 20ft, 40ft, 40ft high-cube or 45ft, and whether floor protection is included. A floor-inclusive arrangement is not automatically equivalent to a wall-and-roof-only fit.

Installation location and scheduling

Pre-installation at an empty-container depot before collection is a common service arrangement. Other sites may be considered by agreement. The depot, access conditions, number of containers and required date all matter when scheduling the work.

Supply-only requirements

BubblePack can also supply reflective roll material for applications such as pallet wrapping. This is distinct from its professional container-lining installation service and should be specified separately when requesting a quote.

Compare the complete shipment cost

On suitable routes, thermal liners can offer 40–60% lower shipping costs than refrigerated containers. The actual difference depends on the freight rate, route, equipment, liner coverage and cargo requirements. A lined dry container is not suitable where active temperature control is necessary.

What information should you send?

Provide the container type, quantity, cargo, temperature requirements, depot or loading location, and required date. This allows a quotation based on the actual work rather than a generic price for insulating a container.
