Integrated Liner Ordering Checklist for International Exporters

Table of Contents

Before requesting a quotation

For exporters shipping through multiple locations, the most useful first step is to establish a consistent set of order details. The BPI Integrated Liner is a prefabricated passive thermal liner for dry freight containers, supplied internationally for fitting by shippers or local partners by arrangement.

1. Confirm the container

Identify whether the shipment uses a 20ft, 40ft, 40ft high-cube or 45ft container. Confirm the actual equipment type and whether floor protection is required. Do not select a liner by length alone.

2. Confirm the cargo requirements

Provide the cargo description, loading conditions and documented temperature limits. A thermal liner slows heat transfer but does not provide active heating or cooling. Product suitability must be assessed rather than inferred from the industry alone.

3. Identify the loading and delivery locations

Specify the delivery country, warehouse or depot, required date and any site-access restrictions. International installation availability is confirmed for each location and booking.

4. Plan the fitting

The Integrated Liner is prefabricated and typically takes 7–20 minutes to fit, depending on container size. Shippers may install it using the supplied guidance, or fitting can be discussed with local partners where available. Plan this work before loading.

5. Discuss ongoing volume

For regular export programmes, share expected container sizes, shipment frequency and locations. This helps determine appropriate stock and delivery arrangements without assuming that every market has the same local installation capacity.

6. Check the complete journey

Consider route, season, transit duration, transhipment and onward transport. Condensation risk depends on moisture and temperature conditions. A liner cannot guarantee a temperature outcome or prevent every form of moisture damage.
